Farmers Day is celebrated on 23 rd of December every year as it is the birthday of Chowdary Caharan Singh, the fifth prime minister of india. This day is celebrated to promote awareness and to help and reward farmers for their contribution to the society.
At least farmer’s day observance compel us to think how farmer grows crops with great difficulty and burnt skin to feed us, but themselves remain background and wretched. Government has introduced several schemes for the benefits of farmer. Let’s hope, that these benefits will actually benefit the farmer.
