Subha Niketan School Fun/Brain-Break Day Theme: Traffic signal.
Learning becomes meaningful when it is joyful, active and connected to everyday life. With this spirit, our school celebrated Funday (Kindergarten) and Brain Break Day (Grade 1 &2) with engaging theme “Traffic signals.”
The day was designed to introduce our young learners, the importance of road safety through hands-on experiences.
We filled the activity area with colourful traffic lights, road signs, Zebra crossings and miniature roads. Children enthusiastically participated in a variety of exciting activities such as ‘Red Light, Green Light’, traffic signal relay games, role-play as traffic police, drivers and pedestrians, creative craft work, colouring activities and road safety walks. They also learnt how to cross the road safely using a Zebra crossing and discovered the importance of following traffic rules in a simple and enjoyable way. Beyond the games and laughter, the celebration conveyed a meaningful message.
The smiles on the faces of our little learners reflected the success of the day. The celebration beautifully demonstrated that education extends beyond the classroom and important life skills can be nurtured through joyful learning.
Funday /Brain Break Day was a perfect blend of fun, fitness and learning. Its helps to follow traffic rules and become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
