In Subha niketan the Niketians had celebrated the 71st Independence Day to commemorate the freedom fighters of our state (A.P). It was an opportunity to come to know of leaders like Sri. Bulusu Sambamurti Garu who is also known as Andhra Gandhi, and Prathivadha Bhayankara Venkata satry Garu who was from our very own home town, Kakinada.
A skit was performed by the students introducing them to another unknown freedom fighter who is also from our state. She is Smt Duvvuri Subbamma garu.
The best part was the fancy dress competition which was enjoyed by the children .Altogether the performance motivated the children to follow the footsteps of the great leaders.
