The Yuva tourism club and the Bharat Scouts and Guides wing of Subha Niketan jointly conducted a tour to Panchmarhi, Madhya Pradesh with thirty scouts and Guides and four escort teachers who accompanied the students to the 475th adventure camp.
Day-1 : A visit to Rajendra Giri where sprawling gardens featuring lush flora and dense forests invited us offering a spectacular sunset view.
Day-2 : A vist to Jhata Shankar Mandir is a feast to the eyes because of the Panoramic view of the ambience
Day-3 : We visited Bee Falls, came to know that it provides drinking water to the people of Panchmarhi.
Day-4 : Visit to the Pandava Caves, we were spell bound. It is a protected monument where tourists flock from all over India. We visited the museum and went for boating too. Night trek gave us the jitters but thank God there are no critters to bother us that night.
Day-5 : RamyaKund is a place in the middle of the jungle with thirty metres trekking arena around it. It is also known as Irene pool and it is a natural pool with crystal clear water a place of tranquillity and a bliss in totality.
Day-6 : We sharpened our adventure skills by going for a rock climbing activity on the Satpura range. Everything good has to come to a stop sometime or the other broademing the horizon so our one week trip which started on 16th May came to an end on 22nd May where we had to return to Kakinada. The pump of the adrenalin and the feeling of reaching the pinnacle of our youthful activities came to a stop but the ecstatic feelings and the fond memories will always remain untainted and will motivate us to achieve something great in our future endeavours.
